Space, the final frontier…

“Humanity will reach maturity and wisdom on the day that it begins not just to tolerate, but take a special delight in differences in ideas and differences in life forms.” – Those words were spoken by Gene Roddenberry, when he stated the reason as to why he created Star Trek.

Hello everyone,

We are Robert Harrower and Vincent Lauria and we are the Executive Producers at Two Sober Dwarves Productions, and the creators of Endless Vigilance: A Star Trek Fan Production. Before we complete our inaugural episode, we first wanted to take the opportunity to thank a number people who helped make the first flight of the Vigilance a reality.

We think it goes without saying that the first person to thank is Gene Roddenberry. We doubt he knew at the time of its creation just how beloved Star Trek would become over the next 50 years. Regardless, his vision, his imagination and persistence created the universe we love and have come to call home. Thank you Mr. Roddenberry for showing us a future full of hope and helping us to “Boldly Go”.

Next, we would like to thank Tony, Daniel, and Nick, from “Outpost“, and James, from “Starship Excelsior“, both Star Trek Fan Productions. They were amazing. They welcomed us to the community with open arms and immense kindness. When we needed help they were right there with information, a tip or to simply help point the way. It was both Outpost and Excelsior that ultimately inspired us to create our own content. The story and characters that both of their shows created we found captivating and wanting more. While we anxiously awaited for there next episodes, we both knew that if we wanted another fantastic Star Trek show, we’d have to build it from the ground up ourselves. It’s been the best journey of our lives and a dream come true. So, as it began with them, to Tony, Nick, Daniel, and James, in the immortal words of William Shakespeare, “I can no other answer make but thanks, and thanks, and ever thanks…”

Next, we would like to thank Modiphius Games, The Star Trek Adventures Roleplaying Game and Eric, and the cast and crew of Shield of Tomorrow who also inspired us and allowed us to use some of their material to create our show. We thank you and are forever grateful.

To our amazing voice talent! To each and every one of our present and future voice artists who have taken and will take the time to lend us their voice to help bring the characters and story we’ve created to life, we thank you. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but we shall not falter, and we’re glad you’re joining us for the ride!

Lest we forget those who have come before us with original works, either in novel form, websites or other, in canon, and non-canon that have enlightened us, allowing us to incorporate their works in good faith, we thank you for your efforts and endless enjoyment.

Finally, we want to thank you, our future listeners. The overwhelming support from everyone so far for this show from its conception until now has continued to drive us forward. In as much as this show is the product of Two Sober Dwarves Productions, this will be for you.
